FIFA president Gianni Infantino arrived in Dhaka on Sunday afternoon for a brief transit stop on his way from Morocco to Thimphu, Bhutan.

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Tabith Awal and senior members of the executive committee received the FIFA chief at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.

Infantino is travelling to Bhutan, with Dhaka serving as a two-hour transit point due to the lack of a direct flight between his departure point and destination. source: dailystar
