Brazilian forward Dorielton scored a brace as star-studded Bashundhara Kings, came from behind, beat Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra by 3-1 goals in the first quarterfinal to reach semifinal of the Bashundhara Group Federation Cup that resumed today.
Apart from Dorielton’s two goals in the match, his compatriot Robson netted the other goal for Kings held at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahaman Stadium in Munshiganj. Muktijoddha’s midfielder Soma Otani netted a lone goal for the losers.
The match was locked 1-1 draw at the breather.
Muktijoddha Sangsad KC took the lead when Soma Otani scored the first goal in the 35th minute but the lead lasted for few minutes when Dorielton leveled the margin for Kings in the 42nd minute of the match.
Dorielton put Kings ahead scoring his second goal in the 79th minute while Robson sealed the victory scoring the third goal for Kings in the 82nd minute of the match.
Bashundhara Kings completely dominated the proceeding, especially in the second half and notched their deserving victory on the day while the freedom fighters Muktijoodha Sangsad were off-colored. BSS
