Nepal U-19 women’s football team now in city

Nepal U-19 women’s football team, as the first team, arrived in the city today (Tuesday) afternoon to take part in the SAFF U-19 Women’s Championship scheduled to be held from December 11-22 at Bir
Shreshtha Shaheed Sepoy Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium in the city’s Kamalapur area.

Nepal will take on host Bangladesh on opening day of the tournament, said a press release here.

The remaining three countries– Sri Lanka, Bhutan and India — will arrive tomorrow (Wednesday) at 9.30 am, 11.30 am and 6.10 pm respectively to participate in the meet.

Apart from host Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Bhutan and India will compete in the meet.
