English-born Bangladesh national football team’s head coach Jamie Day will return to Dhaka from the United Kingdom on Monday (May 10) night after spending his vacation.
He will be accompanied by national team’s assistant coach Stuart Watkiss and goalkeeper coach Les Cleevely. The English coaches went on vacation after the end of the tri-nation tournament in Nepal.
The Bangladesh Football Federation has set a tentative date to start the national football team training camp on May 12. Coach Jamie Day is returning to Dhaka to start the preparations for the national football team for the remaining three matches of the FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers.
Bangladesh will play their remaining Group E fixtures of the World Cup qualifiers in June in Qatar. According to the fixtures, Bangladesh will play against Afghanistan on June 3, against India on June 7 and their final group fixture against Oman on June 15.
