Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra and Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club, both the teams moved to the last eight of the ongoing Federation Cup football despite the Russel boys defeated the other one by 3-2 margin in the last of the group matches on Wednesday at Bangabandhu National Stadium.

Asrorov, Ugochukwu and Toklis netted the ball in the 6th, 39th and 59th minutes for the winning side. In reply, Solomon netted two for the Dhanmondi club in the 49th and 90th minute, both from panelties corners.

Winning the match, Sheikh Russel had six point and became the group champion. Sheikh Jamal and Bangladesh Police Football Club both had one point from the 2-2 draw. But Jamal went to the next round due to goal differences.
