Two matches of BPL to be held tomorrow

Two 17-round matches of the ABG Bashundhara Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) football will be held tomorrow (Friday) at two separate venues across the country. BSS

On the day, holders Bashundhara Kings will take on Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society at Bir Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj while Bangladesh Police Football Club meet Fortis Football Club at Rafiq Uddin Bhuiyan Stadium in Mymensingh.

Both the matches kick off at 4 pm.

Bashundhara Kings, who won the just concluded Federation Cup title, dominate the league table with 41 points from 16 matches while the traditional old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society stand ninth position in
the league table with 12 points playing the same number of matches.

On the other hand, Bangladesh Police Football Club, standing fourth position in the league table, have 23 points from 16 matches while Fortis Football Club who stand sixth position in the league table, collected 18 points playing the same number of outings.

Earlier, in the first leg matches, Bashundhara Kings beat Rahmatganj by 4-1 goals held at Bashundhara Kings arena while Fortis Football Club defeated Bangladesh Police Football Club by 2-1 goals held at Rajshahi district Stadium in Rajshahi.
