Two semifinals matches of the Independence Cup Football will be held today (Friday) at two separate venues across the country.

Mohammedan Sporting Club will take on old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society in the first semifinal at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj at 1.45 pm while Abahani Limited, Dhaka face Bashundhara Kings in the second semis at Bashundhara Kings Arena at 4 pm.

The final of the meet will be held on Monday (Dec 18) at 1.45 pm at Sheikh Fazlul Haque Mani Stadium in Gopalganj.

Earlier, on way to the semifinal, Mohammedan Sporting Club edged past Chittagong Abahani Limited by a solitary goal while Bashundhara Kings beat Bangladesh Army Football Club by 2-1 goals, both their respective quarterfinal matches. BSS
