League committee to sit Friday to discuss BPL’s venue issue

The Professional League Management Committee  (PLMC) of Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will sit on Friday (Feb 11) to discuss the venue issues of ongoing Bangladesh Premier League Football (BPL).

Talking to the pressmen today (Tuesday) BFF’s general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag informed that the PLMC has called a meeting  on Friday at 4 pm to discuss entire situation of venue of BPL and what would be the committee’s further step, which would be elaborately discussed in the meeting.

He said in fact discussion has been made today (Tuesday) with BFF president, PLMC’s chairman  Abdus Salam Murshedy, MP, Abahani Limited’s director in-charge and BFF vice president Kazi Nabil Ahmed, MP and Bashundhara Kings chairman about the venue issue.

When asked about the Army Stadium, BFF general secretary said to use the army stadium for the league, there is needed some information and data which the BFF already provided the concern authority on Monday last.

Meanwhile, Shohag informed that the Bangladesh U-19 Women’s Football, who emerged unbeaten champions in the SAFF U-19 Women’s championship beating India by 1-0 goal in the final in December last year in Dhaka, will be given a warm reception by Chief of Army Staff General SM Shafiuddin Ahmed, SBP, OSP, NDU,PSC, PHD tomorrow (Wednesday) at Cantonment’s Army Multipurpose Complex at 7 pm.

BFF’s president, executive members and players and officials of the team will present in the reception ceremony.
