Salahuddin hopes new coach to bring success for national team

Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) president Kazi Mohammad Salahuddin said they have found an active coach and hoped to be a successful one for the national team.

Talking to the pressmen today (Monday) the BFF boss said when he had a discussion with the new coach, he was seemed good so far and hoped he will be an active gay and able to bring success for the team.

Earlier, the BFF has appointed Javier Cabrera as the new head coach of national football team. The new head coach already arrived in the city on Saturday last to take the charge of the team.

The Spanish coach, who has been appointed as head coach for 11 months, ending in December 2022, has never managed national team as a head coach yet.

Salahuddin hoped that the new coach will feel comfortable to handle the national team because his main target was to groom the national team when he was offered for the job. The BFF boss thinks that it would be a good place for the new coach as he needs a good result from here to flourish his coaching career.

Salahuddin said taking the charge of the national team is big pride and the new coach Javier Cabrera must come here with this vision.

Asked whether the new coach has been given any massage, the BFF boss said the message was to the coach to ensure the team’s win as the national earlier lost several matches in a span of four or five minutes, despite in a dominating position.
